| My name is Agneta Boström
and I work as a Chemistry teacher at Åsö Vuxengymnasium in Stockholm.
For four years I have, thanks to a generous employer, been doing
halftime research with a full salary. This finished with an exam, Licentiate of
Philosophy, in May 2003. My research concerns the narratives experienced
chemistry teachers use in the classroom. In June 2003 I received a scholarship
which makes it possible to do research fulltime for a further two years.
During the autumn 2003 I received a more safe position as graduate
student at the Stockholm Institute of Education. My dissertation is
planned to be finished in may 2006. In this website I have collected information about my research and the travelling I have done during the five years so far. As you'll see if you look further into my website my main interst besides doing research is to make pictures, by photography but sometimes by painting. I have put in pictures from my journeys, to conferences but also for vacations in the website so you can see them. You are welcome to use the links which will make you able to find out more my research and to see my pictures!! |
